Workforce Development, Inc. Receives $15,000 from AT&T
Workforce Development, Inc. (WDI) is pleased to be the recipient of a $15,000 contribution from AT&T. The funding will be used to support a workforce readiness program that will subsidize transportation costs, interview clothing and other related job search expenses so that under-served youth and young adults, many with disabilities, can obtain meaningful employment.
WDI is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to developing and advancing the workforce of Southeast Minnesota. Our services are focused on low-income and disadvantaged populations dealing with multiple barriers to achieving meaningful employment. On an annual basis, WDI serves thousands of people through career planning and pre-vocational skill training. We delivers services through 11 area offices located throughout Southeast Minnesota. Six of these locations are designated as Minnesota WorkForce Centers, in which multiple agencies deliver related services for job seekers and employers.
AT&T is dedicated to investing in the communities in which they live and work. We thank AT&T for their generous contribution.
