WIDSETH SMITH NOLTING’S HINES EARNS PE LICENSE

Widseth Smith Nolting’s Vanessa Hines has passed the exams and met the education and experience requirements necessary to become a registered professional engineer in Minnesota. Licensure is granted by the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design.
 
Hines, a civil engineer, joined WSN in 2014 as an engineer-in-training. She had previously worked for St. Paul Regional Water Services, where she performed entry-level professional engineering in the investigation, design, inspection, operation, construction, and maintenance of projects.
 
At WSN, Hines is responsible for interpreting design criteria and developing site plans. She is also involved in programming, design development, building code review, construction budget analysis, and conducting field work. Hines received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Seattle University in 2010. She has been a member of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) since 2011.
