Top Tier Delights and Cafe Steam Team Up to Offer a Delicious Pairing

Top Tier Delights and Café Steam are pleased to announce the two businesses have teamed up to offer customers Top Tier Delights pastries, desserts and savories at the locally owned coffee shop Café Steam.
The bustling Café Steam, nestled in the heart of downtown Rochester opened in January 2015 with state of the art coffee machines serving freshly brewed coffee and specialty drinks including, Cappuccino’s, Espresso and Macchiato to French and Cold Press Coffee, Herbal teas, Lemonade, Fruit Smoothies and Italian an French Soda. Over the past several months the owners noticed a greater interest from customers wanting food items at the café and that’s when co-owner Traci Downs began investigating options.
“We liked Top Tier Delights small artisan style and that all of the products are homemade from scratch. It’s a perfect savory and sweet match with our coffees and specialty drinks,” said Downs.
Top Tier Delights, a member of the Powers Ventures family of brands is under the leadership of Head Pastry Chef Dawn Hodapp and has been offering one of a kind custom crafted wedding cakes, special occasion cakes and desserts since 2013. Prior to coming to Rochester, Hodapp was the lead baker with Sun Valley Resorts in Sun Valley Idaho. Hodapp received her Bachelor’s degree in baking and pastry from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island and has been perfecting her craft for more than ten year. “I’m thrilled to offer a retail location downtown for Top Tier Delights. Customers have always been able to order various items and pick them up at our location inside the Rochester International Event Center. The location at Café Steam makes our products so much more accessible,” said Hodapp.
Café Steam and Top Tier Delights are initially offering croissants, several biscotti, chocolate chip cookies and pastries. They have plans to phase in quiches and stuffed savory croissants and home made soups. Handcrafted and locally owned Mama Megs Ice Cream will also become available in the near future. Café Steam is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Fridays from 7:00 a.m.-11 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.
