Smith Schafer names two new Tax Principals

Smith Schafer & Associates, Ltd. is pleased to announce Nancy Waldack, CPA and Trisha White, CPA have been promoted to Principals of the firm, effective October 1, 2016.

White joined the firm’s Rochester tax and small business team in 2004 when Smith Schafer merged with Coffman, Nehring and Christopherson. She provides expertise in tax, consultation, planning and compliance for business and individual clients and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. White is an active member of the Rochester Exchange Club, Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the Rochester Public Library Foundation.

Waldack joined the firm in 2007 when Smith Schafer merged with Graves, McKenna, Lundeen & Almquist. She has practiced accounting for more than 35 years and is a leader in the firm’s Twin Cities tax department. She provides expertise in tax consultation, planning and compliance for individual and business clients. Waldack is an active member of the Bloomington Optimist Club, Association of Women Contractors and the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce.
