COMMUNITY LEADERS JOIN THE HIAWATHA HOMES’ TEAM

Hiawatha Homes is honored to announce the appointment of four new members to their Board of Directors affirmed at their 2017 Annual Meeting. These leaders ensure a stable organization providing quality support services to people with disabilities. When asked why they joined, they answered:

“As a former Hiawatha staff person I know the value the individuals and their families place on the quality of care they receive. It is a natural reunion for me to continue serving with what I consider to be one of the best non-profit organizations in Olmsted County.” said Elaine Ingalls, Retired Hiawatha Homes Employee, who is joining the Hiawatha Homes, Inc. Board of Directors.

“I believe in the mission to help others with disabilities. I see joining the board as an opportunity to contribute to the success of that mission in a more direct and meaningful way with the talents that God has given so generously to me.” said Timothy Kelley, HVAC Sales Manager and Local Market Director at Johnson Controls, who is joining the Hiawatha Homes, Inc. Board of Directors.

“As a parent of a special needs son, this community is very close to my heart.  I hope to bring insight as well as learn from others the best options for this population.” said Debbie Witte, Parent, who is joining the Hiawatha Homes Board of Directors.

“I recognized Hiawatha Homes as a quality organization with an important mission and was happy to be able to join the Board when the opportunity presented itself.” said William Ryan, Attorney at Dunlap & Seeger, P.A, who is joining the Hiawatha Homes Foundation Board of Directors.

Hiawatha Homes would also like to thank Darren Groteboer, Rahn Lund, and Frank McAnulty for their years of services as Hiawatha Homes Board members. They have been generous with their time, talents and gifts to Hiawatha and will be missed.
