Golden Living Training Center, Rochester is now State Approved as a Nursing Assistant Training Program.  They will be offering nursing assistant classes that are free and open to the public.  Their program is full time Monday to Friday for seven weeks.  This program is very comprehensive and will prepare students to both take and pass the MN Nursing Assistant Competency Exam, and work as a CNA.  Joel Peterson, RN, CBIS is the program coordinator and lead instructor.  He comes to Golden Living Training Centers with years of experience in several areas of health care.  His career in health care includes working as a nursing assistant, so he brings real life experience to his role.  There are ample jobs available accross the community for nursing assistants.
