This holiday season, visitors to the National Eagle Center will experience a special treat during the week between Christmas and New Years. Sky, the National Eagle Center’s mascot, will be in the nest to greet guests and pose for photos from Noon to 2pm on Wednesday, December 26th, Thursday, December 27th, and Friday, December 28th.

“Sky brings a fun new addition to the visitor experience”, said Andrea Chapman, Director of Development at the National Eagle Center. “People love meeting the eagle ambassadors up-close and now they can interact and take selfies with Sky. We’ve seen people of all ages make an instant connection and we invite everyone to stop in for a visit.”

The National Eagle Center will be closed December 24th and 25th for Christmas, but will be open 10am-5pm daily following the holiday. Visitors who become new members at the household level or above during December will also receive a free plush eagle with their membership.

The National Eagle Center is a non-profit interpretive center located in Wabasha, MN that connects people with eagles in nature, history, and cultures. For more information and a full calendar of events, visit nationaleaglecenter.org.
