Luke Hamdorf Joins Widseth Smith Nolting

Luke Hamdorf has joined the engineering department of Widseth Smith Nolting’s Brainerd office. He has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
 
As a mechanical engineer-in-training at WSN, Hamdorf’s responsibilities include designing HVAC and plumbing systems, performing energy analyses of new and existing systems, performing load designs to determine buildings’ heating and cooling requirements, field observations, and coordinating mechanical engineering work with other disciplines to ensure quality control. He is also responsible for client relations, budgets, and schedules.
 
Prior to his position at WSN, Hamdorf worked at TRW Automotive as a Product Design Engineer, where he created models and specifications of automobile control panels, tested and analyzed product performance, dimensions, and quality, and worked with a global team of engineers to produce products to meet customer specific requirements and goals.
