Loucks Opens Rochester, MN Office to Serve Region

(MAPLE GROVE, MN)—Loucks, a Minnesota-based multidisciplinary consulting firm, announced today the opening of its Rochester, Minnesota office, and hiring of David Morrill, PE who will serve in the role as Senior Project Manager for the firm’s Rochester office. The new office meets growing demand for Loucks’ services from private and public development clients across a variety of sectors in and around Rochester, and demonstrates Loucks’ commitment to thoughtful, responsive, and systematic growth.
 
Mr. Morrill brings 40 years of experience as a civil engineer working in the healthcare, institutional, and private sectors, and has consulted for decades with the City of Rochester, Mayo Clinic, and a variety of clients across southern Minnesota. Previously, Mr. Morrill was vice president and engineering department manager at McGhie & Betts where his project work included: Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center, Richard O. Jacobson Proton Beam Building Subway and Utility Tunnel, St. Marys Campus 2nd Street Parking Lot Improvements, Mayo Support Center Master Plan, and the Mary Brigh Building East Expansion. Mr. Morrill’s expertise is in demand at a national level, as he was recently deployed to assist the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with Hurricane Irma relief efforts. As an employer committed to community service, Loucks is proud to support Mr. Morrill’s appointment as he shares valuable knowledge gained from his problem-solving efforts during Rochester’s flood events. Mr. Morrill will work remotely as he completes his FEMA duties assisting those in need.

Mr. Morrill will join Loucks at its newly opened Rochester office, 3265 19th Street NW, and Principal Civil Engineer Jonathan Donovan will lead the Rochester team. “The addition of our Rochester office provides the opportunity to better serve our clients.
