Donating books at Country Inn and Suites Rochester South, MN for Friends of the Library

At Country Inn & Suites by Carlson Rochester South, MN, we love reading.
Since 2001, our unique Read It & Return Lending LibrarySM offers books for guests to borrow; if they don’t finish it during their stay, they are welcome to take the book and return it on their next visit at another location.
We also love responsible business practices, because we believe that in managing our business this way, we build trust and practice a greater definition of hospitality.
This September, these two elements—the love of reading and the love of responsible business practices—are joining together for the first Country Inns & Suites Book Drive.
We’ve partnered with nonprofit literacy organization Read Indeed to make this book drive possible. Read Indeed is the vision of Maria Keller, a book-loving 15-year-old who wants to make the world a better place—one book at a time. Maria has collected and distributed over 1.5 million books to needy children since 2009, when she started the organization at the age of 8.
We are proud to partner with Read Indeed, and to spotlight the issue of illiteracy. We ask that you join us in making our community a better place by donating books at Country Inn and Suites Rochester South, 77 Wood Lake Dr. SE, Rochester, MN. We are looking for new and gently used books for babies to teens.
The book drive will run from Tuesday, September 8 - Tuesday, September 22, 2015.
