DBS Group expands business development team

As DBS Group continues to grow, the design-build construction company today announced it has expanded its business development team, appointing real estate developer Greg Towner of Rochester, Minnesota-based Towner Companies as regional vice president. Towner joins Jeff Anneke on the team, with Towner focusing on the greater Rochester community. Anneke has been named regional vice president and will focus on expanding the company’s footprint in the multifamily and senior housing sector on a local and regional basis.
 
Towner began his career as an assistant superintendent for a commercial construction company after earning his bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Rising through the ranks in the industry, he served as a commercial construction project manager at a national construction company; as a construction manager, facilities director and executive leader at a local healthcare institution; and as a director of real estate and construction for the largest healthcare institution in Colorado and Kansas. In 2013, Towner created Towner Companies, a real estate development and investment company serving Rochester. Towner will continue to grow and scale his development company as he partners with DBS Group.

Towner recently partnered with DBS Group to build a medical office he’s now developing.

Walters noted that Towner’s deep experience on both sides of the commercial construction process, as a contractor and a developer, gives him a unique perspective that will serve Rochester businesses well.
