ABC 6 On Your Side & Home Federal Launch Pay It Forward Campaign
ABC 6 On Your Side and Home Federal Savings Bank have formed an innovative partnership to launch their Pay It Forward campaign. It will run for 6 weeks, airing from April 14 through May 19. Every week $600 in cash will be given to a deserving person, or people who are making a positive impact in their communities. Pay It Forward nominations are open now and forms are available at kaaltv.com or www.justcallhome.com/PayitForward.aspx
This exciting Pay It Forward campaign will lift up and feature stories of altruism, courage and community support with $600 in cash. Nominees can be deserving citizens, hometown heroes, organizations or someone who needs a little help. Fill out the simple nomination form and give a brief explanation on why your nominee deserves to be chosen for Pay It Forward
This is a 6 week effort and each week ABC 6 On Your Side and our partners from Home Federal will give away $600 in cash to a deserving individual or individuals who are making a positive impact in their communities. An ABC 6 News reporter will capture the compelling story as the nominator has just 60 minutes to surprise the lucky recipient they nominated. Be sure to watch the Pay It Forward story every Thursday April 14 through May 19 on ABC 6 News at 6 and 10 PM and it will be rebroadcast Sunday nights at 10 PM. The mission of Pay It Forward, sponsored by Home Federal Savings Bank and ABC 6 On Your Side, is to reinforce and celebrate the inspiring power of people helping people.

Nominations may also be submitted by picking up a form at any of the eight participating Home Federal Savings Bank locations in Albert Lea, Austin Kasson, Rochester and Spring Valley and mailing it to: ABC 6 News KAAL-TV, Pay It Forward Contest at the address on the form. All non-winning entries from any given week will be carried over to subsequent weeks. Pay It Forward is a great way to honor people who are making a difference.
