Rochester, MN: ABC 6 News promotes Karsen Forsman to Evening Anchor. Karsen will be moving from the field as a News Reporter to an Evening Anchor full time in March.

News Director, David Springer encourages “Karsen is a phenomenal reporter and storyteller, who has great potential in this industry. Now, he gets to take all that to a new level as he co-anchors the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts alongside longtime ABC 6 News Anchor Laura Lee.”

Karsen invested two years as a News Reporter at ABC 6 News providing numerous in depth investigative reports. ABC 6 News advancing him to the anchor desk quickly recognized his dedicated efforts. Karsen also received two honorable mentions from the 2015 Minnesota Broadcast Contest for Best Newscast Television Division and Writing Television Division

In May of 2015, Karsen graduated from St. Cloud State University where he was an anchor and reporter for award winning UTVS News along with playing Division II baseball for the SCSU Huskies.
