 Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
  • Flexibility hours between 7:00am – 7:00pm.
  • Travel to various locations required.
  • Working remote consist of telehealth sessions (if available) and completing required paperwork.
  • Salary staff are expected to work 40-43 hours per week.
  • Hourly staff are able to work up to 40 hours per week, with overtime approval required.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family and/or group skills-based services to children, adults, and families. 
  • Meet productivity standards.
  • Utilize various effective strategies to respond to client needs in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Seek supervisory as needed.
  • Attend trainings for skill enhancement.
  • Complete continuing education requirements.
  • Collaborate with external providers.
  • Uphold Fernbrook's mission and policies.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Physical Demands:
  • Extended periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Stamina to work with clients.
  • Occasional lift up to 15 pounds.
Education and Experience
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, car insurance for community-based roles.
  • Pass criminal background check based on agency and Department of Human Services requirements.
  • Qualify in at least one of the following ways:
    • Meets current Minnesota Statute requirements to qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner or
    • Meets current Minnesota Statute requirements to qualify as a Clinical Trainee.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience working with diverse client populations.
  • Bilingual proficiency.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Coordinate services with other Fernbrook employees who share similar clients on their caseload.
