Featured Speaker: Lauren Brown, Development Director for the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester
Understanding the difficulties of childhood illness herself, Lauren Brown spent three years interning and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester throughout high school and college. Lauren’s passion for the Ronald McDonald House mission runs deep, and eventually that led her back to the Ronald McDonald House in 2021. Now a Development Officer at RMHC Midwest | MN, WI, IA, Lauren is responsible for raising funds and awareness for the non-profit organization.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Midwest | MN, WI, IA is a home away from home that gives support to families traveling to Rochester who are seeking medical care for their children. The Ronald McDonald House in Rochester is the largest House in the Midwest with a 70-room facility that provides families with a place to stay, meals, activities, and more.
Lauren looks forward to sharing about the Ronald McDonald House and the services it provides, and educating the community on the many ways one can get involved in helping children and families who are facing difficult times.
