Event Description:
Develop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Round Table provides a small, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership, learn together and empower each other to take risks. Join us for a fun, engaging program driven by the needs of the group.
This round table will feature a presentation led by Dr. Jordan Schmidt from Rochester Chiropractic & Wellness, which specializes in prenatal and pediatric care.
The talk will focus on the benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy and the early years of life. During pregnancy this includes: decreasing pain and balancing the pelvis to support optimal birth position. Chiropractic is beneficial for an infant to correct any birth trauma and also to decrease colic, constipation and ear infections. I will discuss how chiropractic works and common misunderstandings about the profession.
Dr. Jordan Schmidt attended Valparaiso University where she majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Classical Civilizations. Dr. Schmidt graduated in April of this past year from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. A majority of Schmidt's internships in school focused on prenatal and pediatric care, and she is certified in the Webster technique and Graston. Dr. Schmidt is currently working towards her certificate with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She and her husband, Matt, are new to the Rochester area and are expecting their first child in February.

Members of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce are welcome to attend. In addition, prospective members are invited to attend twice before setting up a meeting to discuss whether Chamber membership is right for their organization.
