Event Description:
Develop relationships within this supportive group of women leaders who meet the third Friday morning of each month. The Women's Round Table provides a small, safe environment for women to: practice and refine skills, discuss challenges specific to women in positions of leadership, learn together and empower each other to take risks. Join us for a fun, engaging program driven by the needs of the group.
This round table will feature a presentation by: Brenda Schultz. Brenda grew up in Chatfield, Minnesota. She has 5 children and 5 grandchildren and is a 25 year retiree of the Mayo Clinic. After losing her Mom to breast cancer at the young age of 66, she decided that she wanted to find a way to help families through this very emotional and difficult time. Her 9 years of experience in working in this capacity have taught her many ways to educate people in the process, help set expectations and discuss costs advance of their need.
Presentation Details: Planning is Essential in everyday life. We spend lots of time planning for vacations, car pools, kid’s activities, family holidays and (hopefully) our retirement. But did you know that it’s essential to plan for even beyond that?
As an independent funeral pre-planning consultant I am able to help you prepare for the inevitable in advance. Doing so removes this stress from your family during a difficult time.
Brenda performs cost comparisons and provides you with the requirements for the type of funeral you desire. She will help you read through price lists, and document the information your family will need in writing. Brenda can also help you set money aside for your funeral, that is protected and will grow income tax free. Working with many attorneys and financial advisors she can ensure that your plan is properly structured for you.
Additionally, Brenda helps veterans understand the benefits available to them and get proper documents in place ahead of time.
