WILD Mentorship 2017 Theme: Discover

We have gone WILD about mentorship! Come join us in an interactive session about the importance of Leaning into Equity. Give input and learn from others, and then speed network to meet others and share your thoughts and ideas. Space is limited to the first 40 registrants.
 
Event Title: Lean In to Equity: The Importance of Telling Our Stories
Event Description: Have you ever wondered if the positive or negative treatment you received was based on your gender? Have you had to overcome an obstacle because of being a woman? Do you struggle with the demands you feel are on you to "do it all"? Come to a time of networking, conversation around gender equity, storytelling, and reflecting with other women. Bethany von Steinbergs, from Leadership Vision, will be facilitating this empowering session.  
  • 2:50-3:05 PM   Registration & Networking
  • 3:05-3:10 PM - Intro and announcements
  • 3:10-3:25 PM - Icebreaker (facilitated by Bethany von Steinbergs)
  • 3:25-3:55 PM - Speaker (Bethany von Steinbergs)
  • 3:55-4:20 PM - Speed Networking - with focus on how to do the practical of what was discussed
  • 4:20-4:30 PM - Closing announcements and monthly Meet-ups
**Join us immediately following the program for more networking time in the Cambria Gallery from 4:30pm - 5pm.
 
Bethany is a Strengths consultant at Leadership Vision in Minneapolis, MN. Throughout her professional career, she has focused on what is right about people, leveraging the talents of those around her to build strong people, teams and culture. Bethany has a background in education, but has spent her professional career working cross-culturally, in Student Development within institutions of private higher education, and leading within volunteer based organizations. She is passionate about women's voices being heard and elevated, in the workplace and beyond. Bethany received a master's degree in Missional Leadership from Northwest University. The focus of her master's thesis was mentoring.   
 
Bethany and her husband, Jed, reside in Zumbrota, MN. They live on a 16 acre farm with their three young sons - Hosea, Cyrus, and Micah.
