STEM Summit Mission and Overview:
The STEM Summit encourages over 2,000 middle and high school students to pursue science, technology, engineering and math careers by connecting them to business and higher educational institutions which offer STEM courses in a highly interactive, hands-on format.

The future success of greater Rochester's economy depends on a well-prepared pipeline of students with the education and skills needed to keep Rochester area's business and industry competitive. These summits bring together business, higher education, local government and communities to motivate and prepare our students for an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

STEM Career Exploration Fair
You're already setup to display at the STEM Summit, so you might as well promote your careers to adults as well.  We expect 100 to 200 adult students of any age, or any adults looking to transition or explore new career options in STEM to attend the STEM Exploration Career Fair.  This portion of the event is put on in partnership with the Workforce Center, Workforce Development, Inc., and MN-DEED.

Real Impact:
As a direct result of of STEM Summit, our student surveys found of those who attended: 80% of the students would now consider a STEM career, 60% want to further explore a STEM career, 45% want to worker harder in their STEM courses, and 25% plan to take harder STEM classes!
