Event Description:
The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and the Rochester Area Math Science Partnership (RAMSP) have partnered to create a “STEM Stewards” coalition. This quarterly meeting is for champions of STEM careers, programs, education & partnerships. The purpose is to stay informed on the latest news, programs, legislative activities, statewide efforts and resources related to STEM education and to connect with other like-minded organizations to effect real change in STEM preparations.
This large Rochester-area group will consist of businesses with workforce needs in STEM fields, innovative higher Ed & K12 educators & school administrators, and community organizations with STEM programming. The fast-paced format will include rotating presentations, round-table updates and networking time.
The first meeting is on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 8-9:30 a.m. at the Chamber office 220 South Broadway, Suite 100.
