Event Description:
This round table is one of several designed to create additional value for specific segments of our membership. Prospective chamber members are also invited to attend initial meetings.
This month, Bremer Bank will be joining us to talk about Cyber Security and what your organization can do to keep your information and your people safe.
Next-generation Defensive Security on a Budget
How to defend your systems against the current threat landscape without breaking the bank using built in tools, open source options and good system management. We will discuss:
- Types of attacks we are seeing including traditional ones like Ransomware and malware attacks as well as next generation scripting attacks that use native tools to avoid detection.
- Native level tools built into the operating system that can be enabled to provide very complete security.
- Tools and tricks to help reduce phishing attacks effectiveness that are free and easy to implement.
- Open source solutions that can provide excellent security for ingress and egress from your network.
The Non-Profit Round Table will meet monthly, to informally exchange ideas, best practices and to provide feedback to the Chamber on how it might better serve you and your organization.
