An Entrepreneurial Success Story: CEO Megan Tamte of Evereve (formerly "Hot Mama")
Megan Tamte opened her first Hot Mama store in Edina in 2004. Since then, her dream of a boutique that caters to professional moms has grown to a retail chain with 41 retail locations. Hot Mama is debt-free, and funds its expansion with its own profits. Hot Mama aims to operate 500 stores with annual sales of $1 billion by 2020. (Note: Hot Mama officially changed its name to Evereve July of 2014.)
Megan will share her story of entrepreneurship, growth and expansion. She will also offer attendees inspiration through her discussion of Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead, written by Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer.
Megan’s keynote address will be followed by a luncheon networking event. This networking opportunity gives participants the opportunity to meet over a leisurely and delicious lunch.
