Event Description:

2026 marks a year bustling with elections on the local, state, and federal level. The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the return of our Candidate Training Program which will work to equip those who are considering running for local office with the needed resources and information to run a successful campaign. Over the course of the three trainings, topics covered will include how to craft your messaging, information on filing deadlines, budgeting, campaign finance regulations, leveraging social media, and more.

Topics covered at this training include:
  • How to develop your campaign message
  • The "why" you're interested in running for public office
  • Identifying what office you wish to run for
  • Where to start

    • Qualifications
    • Filing Information
    • Key Dates
Registration is required, the $25 fee covers all three training sessions. 

Light refreshments will be provided. 

Please note that the one time fee of $25 to attend all three training sessions is non refundable.
